Overview: The program serves the children and youth of Honduras and is unique in its focus on discipleship - not only teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, but also teaching participants how to teach and evangelize others in their country. We begin by ensuring the basic needs of each participant are met, then progress to education, general social services, catechesis and active discipleship. As a sponsor you are able to truly accompany your child as a "spiritual parent" through prayer, material support, and personal letters.

Educational
EducatodosA program sponsored by the government of Honduras and USAID which allows continued education through night and weekend study. This program is ideal for youth and young adults who cannot attend regular schooling, often due to being too far behind, or needing to work during the day to support their families.
Tutoring The Missioners offer two sessions of tutoring each day, and have opened a library for use by our sponsored youth. In this ministry, kids receive help with their homework in math, grammar and literature. They are also taught about moral and spiritual values. Our objectives are a good academic performance for the child and to encourage moral values.
|
Social Work
In this ministry we serve the children who are in the Becas (Scholarship) program, carrying out social projects while teaching the faith and love for neighbor. Our objective is that the children learn to appreciate all they are provided and that they feel useful for their family and their environment. We seek to encourage the children to serve others and learn the value of community.
Family Ministries
Mother's ProgramWe encourage the mothers of the children that participate in the scholarship program to join us for bible study and social events. Our social worker, teaches them family skills, lessons in faith, and crafts or different skills that can benefit them in their daily lives.. The objectives of this ministry is to help mothers remember the worth they have as women.

Children of the mother's ProgramThis program is for the small children that the mothers from the Mothers Program bring because they don't have someone to leave them with when they attend their meetings. There is a group of missioners that spends time with them giving them talks and projects about the faith.
